Wimbledon 2025 frames that caught our eye
Wimbledon offered yet another exciting fortnight of tennis this year with plenty of drama. From Alcaraz’s unexpected struggle against Fognini in the first round to Sabalenka’s heartbreak at her defeat by Anisimova in the semi-finals, the tournament was as action packed and exciting as ever.
Wimbledon is also a hotspot for celebs, many of whom are granted seats in the Royal Box. David Beckham made another appearance this year among the VIP guests, as did Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Grant. We also saw Andrew Garfield, Keira Knightly, Sienna Miller and Oli Green, Tom Holland and former Wimbledon champion Roger Federer - alongside a host of royals from the Prince and Princess of Wales to Queen Camilla herself.
It wasn’t only the celebrities themselves that caught our eye, however; some fashion-forward eye frames were donned throughout the sun-drenched tournament. Here we select those that made the biggest impression.
Kate Middleton
The Princess of Wales is a style icon, choosing timeless cuts, striking colours and flattering fabrics. Her sunglasses featured a cat-eye silhouette and classic tortoiseshell acetate frame, with warm brown gradient lenses bringing a sophisticated elegance to her Wimbledon attire.
