DITA x Marilyn Monroe
2025 has also seen the release of the DITA x Marilyn Monroe collaboration, with the extraordinary MM.100 x Marilyn Monroe frame. In celebration of the Hollywood legend’s 100th birthday, DITA has created a retro-inspired yet contemporary cat-eye frame that represents the impact that the star had - and still has today.
Handcrafted with Japanese acetate, the MM.100 features a wire core that closely resembles diamonds in homage to Monroe’s performance of the song, ‘Diamonds are a girl’s best friend’ in the 1953 classic Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. The limited edition frame comes in four distinctive colours: Black, Dreamy Swirl Red, Khaki Crystal and Satin Apricot, each with its own tailored lens colour to create a truly unique aesthetic.
