With 2018 coming to an end, we can’t wrap our heads around how quickly this year went by. However, we cannot wait to see what the next year will bring! In this post, we wanted to remember all the things that made 2018 such a great year, while also sharing with you our goals for 2019.

  • WELCOME L.G.R

    The year started in the best way possible with the incorporation of the amazing brand, L.G.R, to our collection. We first discovered L.G.R in an eye wear exhibition in Paris back in 2017 and we absolutely fell in love, we had to have it!   • It’s party time! CELINE & FRAME CHAIN LAUNCH PARTY

    On June this year, we wanted to celebrate the incorporation of Celine and Frame Chain to our collection so we brought together the chicest people and had the time of our lives. There were freebies, cake, and tons of laughter. It was our first official event and we couldn’t have wished for a better one.   • NEW SEASON, NEW WEBSITE

    Summer came to an end, but we kicked off the beginning of Autumn by launching our brand new website. With new features such as the online shop and the blog, our website is more complete than ever. We wanted our website to be as functional as possible, so you can now book appointments online as well!

  • LAUNCH OF EYEVAN’S CAPSULE COLLECTION

    End of the year… but not the end of new additions to The Eye Est. This December, we incorporated Eyevan’s capsule collection along with their EYEVAN 7285 collection. The simpler and timeless collection pulls no punches in the world of Japanese hand made frames, but will definitely be go easier on your wallet.

But now that 2018 is over, we can’t wait to see what the next year holds for us. However, we’ve got some plans…

  • The bigger the collection, the better! NEW KIDS FRAMES

    For the new year, one of our goals is to add more kids frames into our collection. We have had many little ones at our practice this year so we are really eager to add brand new glasses! And who knows, maybe sunglasses as well?

  • MORE JAPANESE BRANDS

    The question is why not? As you might have realised from our previous posts, our love for Japan has no end. We love everything about this country, but particularly its unique way of manufacturing frames. With Japan’s eyewear industry being amongst the best in the world -if not the best-, we really hope we can bring one more Japanese brand next year.

  • Party time… round 2.0? DITA EVENT!

    At The Eye Establishment, we love parties (in case you haven’t noticed), and even though we have had DITA with us since opening the store, it is never too late to celebrate this great brand. If you haven’t heard about it yet, this event might also be a good opportunity to get to know it a bit more. We still haven’t decided a date yet, but we know for a fact it will be awesome. Stay tuned.

  • Innovations never stop: NIKON SEECOAT DRIVE

    Something is guaranteed, though, the following year we will continue to use the latest technology, including Nikon’s brand new SeeCoat Drive lens. This everyday lens enhances our driving performance, as it is reduces the blinding effect of glare when driving in the dark, while offering superior vision during the day.
